A man visiting an inmate at Julia Tutwiler Prison in Wetumpka was arrested Saturday.

According to a release from the Alabama Department of Corrections an ADOC correctional officer observed visitor Roger Dale Donaldson pass an object to an inmate. The object was confiscated and was found to contain suspected narcotics. Donaldson was arrested without further incident and charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
