For nearly two decades the Pride of the Tribe Wetumpka High School Marching Band has been under the direction of Jason Warnix, who is now handing the program off as he steps into retirement.

“They say you can be married to your job,” Warnix said. “For the last three or four years that has been more than true. I now need to retire to help take care of my family and spend time with my loved ones that I haven’t been able to like I should.”
