The Wetumpka Fire Department and the Wetumpka Police Department saw purchases for equipment approved at Monday’s Wetumpka City Council meeting.

The council approved the purchase of four headsets for one of the fire department’s trucks. The council also approved the purchase of firearms for the police department from the state bid list.
