Wetumpka High School Boys Basketball

File / TPI After losing to Pelham in the opening round of the tournament, sophomore forward Kaleb Ballard led the Indians to two more wins.

The Wetumpka Indians showed their ability to dominate on the court over at the Pelham Turkey Tip-off tournament last week.

They opened the tournament with a steep loss to an undefeated Pelham team, 77-45. Pelham (6-0) is one of the strongest boys basketball teams the Indians will face this season, with versatile, scoring guards and lots of size and physicality in the post. The Panthers have won every game they’ve played this season by a margin of 20 points or more, scoring an average of 79.5 points per game.Â
