An Elmore County resident is organizing a chapter of the Young Republicans.
After moving to the area for work in 2021, Gregory Kirby was looking for ways to be involved. In college he was involved in the Jacksonville State University College Republicans because he was always interested in politics. He kept Fox News on the TV while studying, pausing from time to time to watch, especially during Sean Hannity.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
Those that have in ground sprinkler systems should drain them and
cover above ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
