PHOTOS: Wetumpka clinches back-to-back area title

The Wetumpka Indians defeated Percy Julian in the AHSAA Class 6A Area 4 tournament championship in overtime, 78-77. 

The game was a back-and-forth, fast-paced, offensive brawl. Percy Julian capitalized on its strong transition offense, pushing the pace at every turn and catching the Indians on their heels. Still, Wetumpka managed to maintain a narrow lead through the first half, with a 27-25 halftime score.
