Being a “Yogi”, a person that practices Yoga, does not only consist of executing unusual poses, but is a total mind and body exercise that is becoming more popular in the Alexander City community.

Free mixed level yoga classes are being offered four times a week this summer. There are two morning classes held at the Arbor on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., lead by Yoga instructor, Andrea Peacock and two night classes at St. James Episcopal Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. lead by Yoga instructors Mary Lyman Boone and Scears Barnes.
